Volacom Relocates to New Modern Manufacturing and Administrative Facilities

Volacom and our sister company Acom finalized the construction and commissioning of our new manufacturing and administrative headquarters located on the outskirts of Sofia, in Bozhurishte Economic Zone. The companies are relocating their machinery and office staff to the new modern buildings which allow several times increased production capacity and better cost efficiency.

Bozhurishte Economic Zone is a state-owned industrial complex intended for manufacturers, hi-tech and logistics companies with fast transport links to the main road networks connecting the country with the outside world. Some of our neighbors became our key suppliers of components. This gives us excellent control over a significant part of our supply chain and quality assurance, having shipping literally done by…foot.

The new premises include vast storage areas, which, if needed, can be easily adapted for manufacturing purposes, thus achieving further capacity increase without significant capital expenditure. The buildings meet all modern-day construction and ecological standards and provide the team with excellent and safe working environment, including free car park and organized transport to/from the nearest subway station.
