The Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Bulgaria, Albania, and North Macedonia, visited Volacom’s factory
January 25, 2022
We were pleased to welcome yet another high-ranking state official to our engineering and manufacturing facilities in Sofia. On 25th January Ambassador Bogananta toured around our Group’s premises and witnessed in person our technological capacity, key people, and the processes that all make up our state-of-the-art communication and bird control solutions.
The Republic of Indonesia is the world’s largest archipelagic country and the 14th largest by total land area. It consists of more than 17,500 islands and boasts a population of 270+ million people. Its size and tropical climate support one of highest levels of biodiversity in the world, including more than 1,500 bird species. This immense avian biodiversity poses an ever-growing challenge to Indonesia’s rapidly growing aviation, wind energy, and industry sectors, while the country’s archipelagic geography requires reliable communication infrastructure.
Coming from a successful business and entrepreneurial background, Ambassador Bogananta has been entrusted by the Indonesian government with boosting business and trade relations between our region and Indonesia, which for the short time since he took office he has managed to do with spectacular results. We presented His Excellency with Volacom’s automated bird control solutions and he was able to witness their impressive operational capabilities in person. In addition, we shared our decade-long experience in the concept, design, production, and installation of complex and secure radio-communication networks, to which he showed particular interest.
In the end and under the tender melodies from Volacom’s custom-designed and in-house manufactured sound system everyone acknowledged that there is unutilized cooperation and trade potential between the countries of Bulgaria and Indonesia and we agreed to continue our communication and together pursue mutually beneficial business opportunities.
