Ivo joined the team in the beginning of 2021 and is taking care of the company’s commercial matters and client relations. Before Volacom, he held the position of country manager for Bulgaria with an international property development group for more than 10 years. He holds BSc and MBA degrees from the University of Portsmouth (UK) and University of Sheffield (UK) respectively.
Bozhidar’s passion for technology and innovation led him to discover Volacom back in 2013 while he was still studying. Eventually, he graduated Sofia Technical University with a gold medal and BSc degree in Mechanical engineering, and became part of a scientific research project team, developing underwater technology with the Orebro University in Sweden. In 2015 he came back and officially joined the Volacom family, first as an R&D engineer, then as CTO, responsible for turning ideas and concepts into designs, prototypes, and technological masterpieces. In 2018 he completed his postgraduate studies and was awarded a MSc degree in Mechatronics from Sofia Technical University. Apart from his university degrees, Bozhidar holds a number of certificates in technology and business from international institutes and organizations.
Martin has been a part of Volacom since June 2020. His BSc degree in Zoology from the Swansea University (UK) and passion for nature and wildlife help him bring the company’s technical expertise into an ecological context. Previously, he was a volunteer at several organizations, such as the British Trust for Ornithology and the Danish Ornithological Society. He has been involved in various bird ringing, population dynamics and wind farm monitoring projects across Europe. He is currently attending a postgraduate programme of Animal Ecology at Sofia University (BG) and holds another BSc degree in International Economic Relations from the University of National and World Economy (BG).
