Volacom will participate in the 2022 Conference on Wind Energy and Wildlife Impacts in Egmond aan Zee, The Netherlands, between 4th and 8th April.
March 15, 2022
The company will present its award-winning scientific poster on BCAS Wind / Air system’s bird detection efficiency at wind farms, showcasing its technology at likely the most relevant wind farm wildlife management event, held every 2 years since 2011.
The Conference on Wind energy and Wildlife impacts is an internationally recognized event to share and engage in the latest science, focused on better understanding the risk of wind energy to wildlife and developing solutions to avoid, minimize, and offset the ecological impacts of wind farms, both onshore and offshore. The event also encourages researchers, conservation scientists, federal and state officials, NGO representatives and wind industry professionals that have experience of finding innovative and efficient solutions to these environmental concerns to work together and share knowledge. It also looks into the opportunities to enhance nature when developing wind farms.
We are looking forward to meeting and sharing ideas and knowledge with wind farm sector stakeholders and other technology geeks, who share Volacom’s ultimate goal: protection of birds and businesses. See you there!
